Spicy Tofu and Tempeh Bacon Tacos with Avocado and Coleslaw

1.In a medium bowl, combine the coco aminos or soy sauce, ponzu sauce, and sriracha sauce. Mix well to create a marinade.

2.Add the sliced tofu to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

3.While the tofu is marinating, cook the tempeh bacon in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crispy. Set aside.

4.After marinating, remove the tofu slices from the marinade and pat them dry with a paper towel.

5.In a shallow dish, add the cornstarch and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dredge each tofu slice in the cornstarch, ensuring an even coating.

6.Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tofu slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

7.Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.

8.To assemble the tacos, place a few slices of crispy tofu and tempeh bacon on each tortilla.
