Sweet Corn Delight with Herb Butter

1.Start by shucking the corn and removing the kernels from the cobs. You can do this by standing the cob upright in a bowl and cutting downwards with a sharp knife.

2.In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of the softened butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the sweet corn kernels to the skillet and stir well to coat them in the butter.

3.Cook the corn for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly caramelized.

4.While the corn is cooking, prepare the herb butter. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/4 cup of softened butter with the chopped parsley, chives, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

5.Once the corn is cooked, remove it from the heat and transfer it to a serving dish. Spoon the herb butter over the warm corn and toss gently to combine, allowing the butter to melt and coat the corn evenly.

6.Serve immediately as a delicious side dish or a light main course.
