Sweet and Savory Honey Garlic Shrimp

1.In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.

2.In another small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mixture to the honey sauce and stir well to combine.

3.Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque, flipping halfway through.

4.Pour the honey sauce over the cooked shrimp in the skillet. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the shrimp are well glazed.

5.Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
