Savory Chicken and Sausage Skillet with Green Beans and Potatoes

1.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

2.Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

3.Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

4.Add the ground sausage to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

5.Once the sausage is cooked, add the chicken pieces to the skillet and season with smoked paprika, dried thyme, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

6.Add the halved baby potatoes to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

7.Cover the skillet and let it cook for about 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

8.After 10 minutes, add the trimmed green beans to the skillet, stir well, and cover again. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the green beans are tender but still crisp.
