Creamy Coconut Filter Coffee

1.Prepare the South Indian coffee decoction by brewing finely ground coffee with hot water in a traditional filter or using a French press. Allow it to steep for about 15-20 minutes to extract a rich flavor.

2.In a separate saucepan, gently heat the coconut milk over low heat. Do not boil; just warm it enough to blend well with the coffee.

3.Once the coconut milk is warm, add the sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cardamom. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

4.In a serving glass, pour in the prepared coffee decoction, filling it about halfway.

5.Top the coffee decoction with the warm coconut milk mixture, stirring gently to combine the two layers.

6.If desired, add ice cubes for a refreshing iced version of the drink.

7.Garnish with fresh grated coconut on top for an extra tropical touch.

8.Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy coconut filter coffee!
