Zombie Nerd Nachos

1.Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

2.Spread the tortilla chips evenly over the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses evenly over the chips.

3.Scatter the black beans, purple cabbage, green bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, and black olives evenly over the cheese-topped chips.

4.Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.

5.Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

6.While the nachos bake, mix a few drops of green food coloring into the sour cream to create a 'zombie slime' effect (optional). Transfer to a small zip-top bag and snip the corner for drizzling.

7.Remove the nachos from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Drizzle with the green sour cream and dollop with guacamole.

8.Sprinkle the green onions over the nachos, then finish with a generous scattering of assorted Nerds candy for a colorful, spooky touch.

9.Serve immediately, using extra guacamole and sour cream on the side if desired.
