Orange Glazed Pork Chops with Broccoli and Cheese

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2.Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

3.In a large skillet, heat the lard over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

4.In the same skillet, combine the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, and orange zest. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and bubbles.

5.Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the orange glaze. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the pork chops are cooked through.

6.While the pork chops are cooking, steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes.

7.Remove the skillet from the oven and top each pork chop with shredded cheddar cheese. Return the skillet to the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8.Serve the glazed pork chops with steamed broccoli and enjoy!
