Shrimp Canapes

Preparation Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Canape Base Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil, then sprinkle with minced garlic.

Canape Base Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Shrimp Topping In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Shrimp Topping Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and cooked through. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Shrimp Topping Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the chopped parsley over the shrimp. Toss to coat evenly.

Assembly To assemble the canapes, place a shrimp on each baguette slice. Garnish with fresh parsley leaves and serve with lemon wedges.
