Sweet and Sour Fish

1.In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Marinate the fish fillets in the mixture for 30 minutes.

Making the Sweet and Sour Sauce In a saucepan, mix the pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Stir well until smooth.

3.Add the diced bell pepper, sliced onion, and pineapple chunks to the sauce. Simmer over low heat until the vegetables are tender and the sauce thickens.

Cooking the Fish Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the marinated fish fillets until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

5.Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the cooked fish. Serve hot with steamed rice.
