Orange Vanilla Cake

Preparing the Orange Zest and Juice 1. Wash the orange thoroughly under running water. Zest the orange using a grater to get the flavorful zest. Cut the orange in half and squeeze out the juice. Set aside.

Making the Cake Batter 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, orange zest, vanilla extract, milk, and honey. Mix well until a smooth batter forms.

Baking the Cake 3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a cake tin with butter and dust with flour. Pour the cake batter into the tin.

4.Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Finishing Touches 5. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes. Then, transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.

6.Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar if desired.
