Decadent Chocolate Lava Cake

1.Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter.

2.In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

3.In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until well combined.

4.Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.

5.Add the flour and vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.

6.Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

7.Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes.

8.The edges should be set but the center should still be soft.

9.Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool for 1 minute.

10.Run a knife around the edges of the ramekins and invert the cakes onto serving plates.

11.Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
