Stuffed Jalapeños with Cream Cheese and Bacon

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.Wash the jalapeños and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes for less heat, if desired.

3.In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.

4.Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each jalapeño half with the cheese and bacon mixture, packing it in generously.

5.If using breadcrumbs, sprinkle them evenly over the stuffed jalapeños for added crunch.

6.Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.

8.Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
