Pumpkin Spice Donuts with Apple Butter Glaze

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

3.In another bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.

4.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

5.Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7.Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

8.While the donuts are cooling, prepare the apple butter glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the apple butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and well combined.

9.Once the donuts are completely cool, dip the tops of each donut into the apple butter glaze, allowing any excess to drip off.

10.Place the glazed donuts back on the wire rack to let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
