Cornflake Milk Pudding Delight

1.In a medium bowl, combine the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and the cornstarch is fully dissolved.

2.Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe bowl or dish.

3.Microwave the mixture on high for 2 minutes, then stir well. Continue microwaving in 1-minute intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture thickens (about 4-6 minutes total).

4.Once thickened, remove from the microwave and let it cool for a few minutes.

5.In a separate bowl, crush the cornflakes slightly to break them up but not into powder.

6.Fold the crushed cornflakes into the thickened milk mixture until well combined.

7.Transfer the mixture to a small plate or serving dish, spreading it evenly.

8.Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

9.Once set, you can top with whipped cream and fresh fruits if desired before serving.
