Air Fryer Jalapeño Popper Chicken

1.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

2.In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

3.Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in each chicken breast by slicing them horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.

4.Stuff each chicken breast with the jalapeño cream cheese mixture, ensuring they are generously filled. Secure the openings with toothpicks if necessary.

5.Rub the outside of each stuffed chicken breast with olive oil and season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

6.Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

7.Cook the chicken in the air fryer for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the outside is golden brown and crispy.

8.Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks if used.
