Strawberry Nutella Crumble Bars

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

2.In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, plain flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to mix evenly.

3.Pour the melted butter and oat milk into the dry ingredients. Mix with a spoon or your hands until the mixture becomes crumbly and slightly sticky. Reserve about 1 cup of this crumble mixture for the topping.

4.Press the remaining crumble mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the base layer.

5.Spread the Nutella evenly over the oat crumble base using a spatula. If Nutella is too thick, warm it slightly in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to soften.

6.Arrange the sliced strawberries evenly over the Nutella layer, covering the entire surface.

7.Sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture evenly over the strawberry layer, gently pressing it down to adhere slightly but keeping a crumbly texture.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the strawberries are bubbly around the edges.

9.Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan.

10.Cut into 9 equal squares and serve. These bars can be enjoyed at room temperature or chilled for a firmer texture.
