Cheesy Tomato Bruschetta

1.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

2.Lightly brush both sides of each bread slice with olive oil to ensure a crispy texture when air fried.

3.Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer and toast for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.

4.In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with tomato puree until smooth and well combined. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

5.Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese and tomato mixture evenly over each toasted bread slice.

6.Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top of the tomato-cream cheese layer.

7.Return the prepared bruschetta to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes at 375°F (190°C), or until the cheese is melted and bubbly with slight golden spots.

8.Carefully remove the bruschetta from the air fryer and garnish each slice with fresh basil leaves if desired.

9.Serve immediately as a quick, crunchy appetizer.
