Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta

1.Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.

2.While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3.Add chicken pieces to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

4.Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

5.Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.

6.Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the drained pasta and chopped parsley.

7.Toss everything together to coat the pasta and chicken in the creamy garlic sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water, a tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency.

8.Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

9.Garnish with extra fresh parsley before serving.
