sally's sugar cookies

1.to make these cookies you want to start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees farinheit. then grab your mixer or a large bowl and start by adding for 1/2 cup of unsalted butter. make sure your butter is room temp. and get the butter smooth and fluffy.

2.then begin to add your 3/4 cups of pure cane granulated sugar. i also like to add a tablespoon of brown sugar for extra flavor but its completly optional.

3.after you mix your butter and sugar, start by adding your 1 large egg, and your teaspoon of vanilla extract.

4.then get a smaller/medium sized bowl, take your 1 and 1/2 cups of all porpus flour and your 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder. then mix in 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

5.grab a pan and line your cookies on some parchemnt paper to reduce the chances of sticking to the pan.

6.bake your cookies at 350 degrees farinheit for 8 mins. at the tempature that the cookies are at, you should be able to kill all pathogens so taking them out should be no prob when they are soft.

7.let cookies cool and then take a bite and enjoy!!
