Potato Cheese Casserole

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.

3.In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.

4.Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.

5.Pour half of the hot milk over the potatoes.

6.Sprinkle half of the cheese over the potatoes and milk.

7.Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, milk, and cheese.

8.Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

9.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
