Salty Dessert

Prepare the Dough In a food processor, combine the all-purpose flour, cold butter, sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Chill the Dough Gradually add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the Oven Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Roll Out and Transfer the Dough On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough into a 1/4-inch thick circle. Transfer the dough to a 9-inch tart pan and press it into the bottom and sides.

Prepare the Filling In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Add the Filling Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tart shell. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.

Bake the Tart Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
