Classic Beef Taco

Cooking the Beef Filling In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.

Seasoning the Beef Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the tomato paste and water. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the beef is well seasoned.

Assembling the Tacos Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and cilantro.

Serving Serve the tacos hot with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
