Steamed Crab and Egg

Preparation Clean the crabs, removing the gills and shell, then cut them into pieces. Beat the eggs and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Finely chop the scallions, grate the ginger, and mince the garlic.

Steaming Process 1. Fill a large steaming pot with water and bring it to a boil. Place a steaming rack inside the pot.

3.2. Lay the crab pieces on a heatproof plate, ensuring they are spread out evenly. Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the crab pieces.

4.3. Drizzle the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, scallions, ginger, and garlic over the crab and eggs.

5.4. Place the plate carefully on the steaming rack in the pot. Cover with a lid and steam for about 15-20 minutes or until the eggs are set and the crabs are fully cooked.

Finishing Touches 5. Once done, carefully remove the plate from the steamer. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and sliced red chili peppers.
