Classic Homemade Pancakes

Preparing the Pancake Batter 1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

2.In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then stir in the milk and water until well combined.

3.Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Cooking the Pancakes 4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

5.Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake, allowing space between them.

6.Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges start to look set, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
