Carrot Syrup Pizza

Preparing the Pizza Dough In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well to combine.

Preparing the Carrot Syrup Topping In a saucepan, combine the sliced carrots, maple syrup, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until the carrots are tender and the syrup is thickened. Allow to cool slightly.

Assembling and Baking the Pizza Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the risen dough into a pizza shape on a baking sheet.

6.Spread the carrot syrup topping over the pizza dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella and feta cheese. Top with parsley and basil leaves.

7.Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Garnishing Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with extra fresh parsley and basil leaves. Slice and serve hot.
