Creamy Potato Rice Mash

1Preparing the Potatoes (3 large) 1. Peel the potatoes (3 large) and cut them into cubes.

2In a large pot, boil the potatoes (3 large) in salted water (2 cups) until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the water (2 cups) once they are cooked.

3Cooking the Rice 3. Rinse the rice under cold water (2 cups) until the water (2 cups) runs clear.

4In a saucepan, combine the rice with water (2 cups). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked and the water (2 cups) is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork.

5Mashing the Potatoes (3 large) 5. In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes (3 large) with a potato masher.
