Cheesy Onion Egg Bake

1.Saute the sliced onions in butter over medium heat until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

2.In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper until well combined.

3.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

4.Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

5.Spread the caramelized onions evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.

6.Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the onions.

7.Pour the whisked eggs over the cheese and onions in the dish.

8.Top with the remaining cheese.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10.Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

11.Slice into squares or wedges and enjoy!
