Cinnamon Swirl Cake

For the Cake Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Combine the flour and baking powder, then add alternately with the milk into the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

For the Cinnamon Swirl In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon together. Sprinkle the cinnamon swirl mixture over the cake batter in the pan. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the cake batter to create a marbled effect.

3.Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool before slicing and serving.
