French Onion Soup

1.In covered large saucepan, cook onions in butter (2 tablespoons) over low heat about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2.Add consommé and Worcestershire sauce (1 teaspoon); heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and summer about 30 minutes.

3.Place ¼ slice toasted bread in each of 4 soup bowls; pour hot soup over bread and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
