Adventurous Mushroom Pizza with Unique Crust

For the Crust Mix the yeast, sugar, and warm water in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

For the Topping Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the dough into a pizza shape on a baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce over the crust and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Layer the sliced mushrooms on top of the cheese. Sprinkle the remaining cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the mushrooms. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
