Peanut Butter American Burger

1.Start by preheating the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season them with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the desired level of doneness is reached. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

2.Spread a generous layer of creamy peanut butter on the bottom half of each toasted burger bun. Place a cooked beef patty on top of the peanut butter layer. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt slightly from the heat of the patty.

3.Top the cheese with sliced tomato, red onion, and lettuce leaves. Spread a dollop of mayonnaise on the top half of each burger bun. Place the bun on top of the assembled burger and serve hot.
