Hamburger Tater Tot Casserole

1Saute the chopped onion (1 medium) in a large skillet until translucent. Add the ground hamburger (2 Pounds) and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

2Preheat the oven to the temperature recommended on the tater tots (2 lbs) package.

3In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked hamburger and onion (1 medium) mixture with the mixed vegetables (6 ounces) and cream of chicken soup (2 cans). Mix well to combine all ingredients.

4Pour the hamburger and vegetable mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.

5Layer the American cheese slices on top of the mixture, covering it completely.

6Arrange the tater tots (2 lbs) in a single layer on top of the cheese slices.

7Bake in the preheated oven according to the tater tots (2 lbs) package instructions or until the tater tots (2 lbs) are golden brown and crispy.
