Indian Chicken Curry with Bone

1.Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2.Add cumin seeds and sauté until fragrant.

3.Add the chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.

4.Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cook for another minute.

5.Add the tomatoes and cook until they soften.

6.Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

7.Add the bone-in chicken pieces and coat them in the spice mixture.

8.Pour in the plain yogurt and stir to combine.

9.Cover the pot and let the chicken cook in its juices for about 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

10.Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, uncover the pot and let the curry simmer for a few more minutes to thicken.

11.Adjust seasoning if needed.

12.Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.

13.Serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
