Decadent Oreo Cheesecake

1.Crush 15 Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Combine the cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.

2.In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3.Fold in sour cream and heavy cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Gently stir in the remaining crushed Oreo cookies.

4.Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

5.Place the springform pan in a larger baking pan. Fill the larger pan with hot water to create a water bath for the cheesecake.

6.Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for about 60-70 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set but slightly jiggly in the center.

7.Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.

8.Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

9.Before serving, garnish with additional Oreo cookies on top for decoration.

10.Slice and enjoy a slice of this decadent Oreo cheesecake!
