Classic Tiramisu

1.Separate the egg yolks from the whites and place them in separate bowls.

2.Add sugar to the egg yolks and beat until light and creamy.

3.Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth.

4.In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

5.Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.

6.Mix the coffee with the coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.

7.Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and line the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish with them.

8.Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

9.Repeat with another layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

10.Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

11.Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder for garnish.
