Decadent Chocolate Rice Pudding

In a saucepan, combine the milk (2 cups) and rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the rice is cooked and the mixture thickens.

Add sugar (½ cup) and cocoa powder (⅓ cup) to the rice mixture, stirring continuously until well combined and the sugar (½ cup) is dissolved.

Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract (1 teaspoon), allowing the chocolate to melt and create a smooth, chocolatey pudding texture.

Remove from heat and let the pudding cool slightly.

Divide the pudding into serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill and set.

Before serving, garnish with a dollop of whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and fresh berries for an extra touch of decadence.

Enjoy your luscious chocolate rice pudding!
