Thermomix Baked Mince Meat and Tomato Casserole with Cheese

1Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2Peel and quarter the onion (1 large), and peel the garlic cloves (3).

3Add the onion (1 large) and garlic to the Thermomix bowl. Chop for 5 seconds on speed 5.

4Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the chopped onion (1 large) and garlic in the Thermomix. Sauté for 3 minutes at 100°C on speed 1.

5Add the minced meat (500 g) to the Thermomix bowl. Cook for 7 minutes at 100°C on speed 1, reverse, until the meat is browned.

6Add the canned diced tomatoes (300 g), a pinch of salt, and pepper to taste. Cook for another 10 minutes at 100°C on speed 1, reverse.

7While the meat and tomatoes cook, beat 2 eggs (2) in a small bowl.

8Once the Thermomix has finished cooking, transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.

9Pour the beaten eggs (2) over the meat mixture and gently combine to ensure it sets well while baking.

10Sprinkle the shredded cheese (100 g) evenly over the top of the casserole.

11Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

12Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your dish!
