New Year's Baked Fish

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.Prepare the fish by cleaning and scaling it. Make diagonal cuts on both sides of the fish to allow the flavors to penetrate.

3.Slice the lemon and garlic cloves.

4.Mix the olive oil, paprika, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and black pepper in a small bowl to create a spice mixture.

5.Rub the spice mixture all over the fish, including inside the cuts.

6.Place the lemon slices and garlic cloves inside the cavity of the fish for added flavor.

7.Sprinkle fresh parsley over the fish for garnish and added freshness.

8.Drizzle a little more olive oil on top of the fish for moisture.

9.Place the fish on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

10.Bake the fish in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
