Spiced Carrot and Onion Saute

1Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds. Finely chop the onions.

2Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

3Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown and caramelized, stirring occasionally.

4Sprinkle salt, pepper, turmeric, and red powder over the onions. Mix well to evenly coat the onions.

5Add the sliced carrots to the pan and stir to combine with the spiced onions.

6Cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the carrots are tender, stirring occasionally.

7Adjust the seasoning if needed and serve the spiced carrot and onion sauté hot as a delicious side dish or over rice.
