Ultimate Mac and Cheese with Bacon Sandwich

1Cook the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

2Prepare the macaroni and cheese (1 box) according to the package instructions.

3In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter (2 tablespoons) over medium heat. Add milk (½ cup) and shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup), stirring until smooth and creamy. Mix in the cooked macaroni and cheese (1 box) sauce until well combined.

4Assemble the sandwiches by placing a generous amount of mac and cheese mixture on a slice of sandwich bread. Top with 2 slices of crispy bacon and another slice of bread.

5Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
