Christmas Turon

1.Peel and slice the bananas lengthwise into halves.

2.Prepare the spring roll wrappers and lay them flat on a clean surface.

3.Place a slice of banana on each wrapper, sprinkle brown sugar on top, and add a few pieces of jackfruit if desired.

4.Roll the wrapper tightly, folding the sides in as you go.

5.Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.

6.Once the oil is hot, carefully place the turon rolls in the oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.

7.Remove the turon from the oil and drain excess oil on paper towels.

8.Drizzle honey over the fried turon and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top.

9.For an extra festive touch, dust some cinnamon powder over the turon rolls.

10.Serve the Christmas Turon warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side if desired.
