St. Joseph's Day Croquettes

1.In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, beaten eggs, milk, parsley, paprika, cumin, nutmeg, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

2.Shape the mixture into small croquettes and place them on a tray lined with parchment paper.

3.In three separate bowls, place the flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and the 2 cups of bread crumbs in the third.

4.Dip each croquette first into the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat them with the bread crumbs.

5.Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.

6.Fry the croquettes in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

7.Remove the croquettes from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

8.Serve the St. Joseph's Day Croquettes hot with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them on their own!
