Creamy White Sauce Pasta

1Cook the fettuccine pasta (8 oz) according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2In a large skillet, melt the butter (2 tbsp) over medium heat. Add the minced garlic (2 cloves) and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3Sprinkle the flour over the garlic (2 cloves) and butter (2 tbsp) mixture. Stir continuously for 2 minutes to cook the flour.

4Slowly pour in the milk (1½ cups) while stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Add the heavy cream (½ cup) and continue stirring until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

5Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese (½ cup) and nutmeg (¼ tsp). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6Add the cooked fettuccine pasta (8 oz) to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.

7Serve the creamy white sauce pasta hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
