Honey Glazed Carrots

1Peel the carrots (4 large) and cut them into thin slices or sticks.

2In a pan, heat olive oil (2 tbsp) over medium heat.

3Add the carrot slices to the pan and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.

4Sprinkle sugar (2 tbsp) over the carrots (4 large) and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the sugar (2 tbsp) caramelizes and coats the carrots (4 large).

5Season with salt and pepper to taste, stirring well to combine the flavors.

6Drizzle honey (2 tbsp) over the carrots (4 large) and stir to coat them evenly with the honey (2 tbsp) glaze.

7Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the carrots (4 large) are tender and glazed with the honey (2 tbsp) sauce.

8Remove from heat and serve the honey (2 tbsp) glazed carrots (4 large) hot as a delicious side dish or snack.
