Coconut Sweet Delight

1In a pan, heat ghee (½ cup) over medium heat until melted and hot.

2Add grated coconut (2 cups) to the pan and sauté until it turns light golden brown, stirring continuously for about 5-7 minutes.

3Pour in the milk (1 cup) and stir well. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens and the coconut absorbs the milk (1 cup).

4Add sugar (1 cup) to the mixture and continue to cook until the sugar (1 cup) dissolves completely and the mixture reaches a sticky consistency, stirring frequently for about 10-12 minutes.

5Once the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.

6Grease a plate with ghee (½ cup) and transfer the coconut sweet mixture onto the plate. Spread it evenly and allow it to cool completely at room temperature.

7Once cooled, cut the coconut sweet into desired shapes like squares or diamonds using a greased knife.
