Decadent Chocolate Nutella Cake

1Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a cake pan with butter (1 cup) and dust with cocoa powder (1 cup).

2In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter (1 cup) and sugar (2 cups) until light and fluffy.

3Add the eggs (4) one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Mix in the Nutella (1 cup) and vanilla extract (1 tsp) until well combined.

5In a separate bowl, sift together the Maida (2 cups), cocoa powder (1 cup), and baking powder (1 tsp).

6Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with water (1 cup), and mix until smooth.

7Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

9For the frosting, mix Nutella (1 cup) with butter (1 cup) until smooth and spread over the cooled cake.
