Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

1In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream (2 cups), whole milk (1 cup), and granulated sugar (¾ cup). Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

3Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

4Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
