Eggless Banana Cake

1Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a cake pan with oil or butter.

2In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas (2) until smooth using a fork or a potato masher.

3Add sugar (½ cup), vegetable oil (⅓ cup), and vanilla extract (½ tsp) to the mashed bananas. Mix well until combined.

4In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour (1 cup), baking powder (1 tsp), and baking soda (½ tsp).

5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with milk (½ cup). Mix until just combined; do not overmix.

6Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and spread it evenly.

7Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

9Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
