Festive Guava Cheese Delight

1In a saucepan, combine guava pulp (2 cups), sugar (1 cup), and water (¼ cup). Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.

2In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch (¼ cup) with a little water (¼ cup) to form a slurry. Add the slurry to the guava mixture and stir well to combine.

3Add cream cheese (1 cup), butter (½ cup), milk (½ cup), vanilla extract (1 tsp), and all the spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cardamom, and allspice) to the saucepan. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

4Remove the mixture from heat and stir in lemon zest (¼ tsp). Let it cool slightly before transferring to a serving dish or individual molds.

5Refrigerate the guava cheese mixture for at least 4 hours or until set and firm.

6Once set, garnish with chopped nuts (¼ cup), dried cranberries (¼ cup), and shredded coconut (¼ cup) if desired.
