Juicy Hamburger Steak with Caramelized Onions

1In a bowl, combine the ground beef (1 lb), breadcrumbs (½ cup), milk (¼ cup), egg (1), Worcestershire sauce (1 tablespoon), ketchup (1 tablespoon), garlic powder (1 teaspoon), onion powder (1 teaspoon), paprika (½ teaspoon), black pepper (½ teaspoon), cayenne pepper (¼ teaspoon), thyme, oregano, and parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into thick patties.

3Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter (2 tablespoons). Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Remove the onions from the skillet and set aside.

4In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter (2 tablespoons). Place the hamburger patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
